Who we are:
Representatives from over 20 local community organizations working together to save lives.

Mission: To promote a well-informed and empowered community so that mental illness is known to be treatable and suicide preventable.


1. To reduce stigma about both suicide and mental illness and promote suicide prevention activities.

2. To empower individuals to get involved in saving lives.

What we offer:

  • Speakers' Bureau / Community Education
  • Annual Suicide Prevention Conference

How you can help:

  • Educate yourself - learn about risk and protective factors.

o Invite a Coalition representative to your business, school, church, or social group to provide you with suicide recognition and prevention training

o Volunteer to be part of the Coalition or consider having your business join the coalition.

o Examine your business practices /school policies about how people are supported during times of great stress.

o Advocate for suicide prevention.

o Participate in our fundraising to help provide financial support for Coalition activities / initiatives.

o Be your brother's keeper.
