Depression Screening - description

A self-administered instrument consisting of questions relating to how one has felt in the recent past. The process does not give a definitive diagnosis; it is a way to assess whether signs and symptoms of depression exist at a given point in time. If the person has moderate to severe symptoms of depression, a recommendation may be made for a more complete assessment and possible treatment.

A confidential depression screening may be arranged by contacting the Stark County Mental Health Board @ (330) 455-6644 or the Crisis Intervention Center @ (330) 452-9812.
