The center offers a welcoming environment to meet with friends and to relax. Activities are planned and occur both inside and outside of the agency. A food pantry and hot meals are also continual events.

The Friendship Center also houses the Canton Center Payee Program, which provides money management services. Payee program representatives work closely with the client and other involved parties to create a budget which provides for living expenses as well as savings. The goal is to provide safe and convenient management of client finances to create a stable housing situation and prevent client exploitation. Client hours are Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and Friday 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
