The Alzheimer's Association - Canton Area Chapter serves residents of Carroll, Holmes, Stark, Tuscarawas, and Wayne counties,assisting people with dementia and their caregivers. Support services are provided at no charge and include: Helpline Peer Counselors for telephone support; Family consultations; Caregiver support groups; information packets; educational seminars, professional and community awareness programs; publications; video and resource library; newsletters; Safe Return Wanderers Registry; advocacy on federal, state and local levels; and support of research into the cause, cure and control of Alzheimer's disease.
