The Mental Health and Recovery Services Board of Stark County Board of Directors  comprises of eighteen Stark County residents who volunteer their time to accomplish the mission of the Board.   They represent a variety of interests and perspectives, including consumers, families, professionals and community members, and are representative of the demographic composition of Stark County.

 

Ten members of the Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (MHRSB) are appointed by the Stark County Commissioners.  Four members of the MHRSB are appointed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health, and four members are appointed by the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services.  Members of the Board are appointed to four-year terms and must take an oath of office to serve.
